The Role
We are recruiting three experienced Project/Production Planners to join a high-profile, highly regulated manufacturing environment.
You will balance demand and supply across operational delivery units, translate the Master Production Schedule into detailed daily plans, manage capacity and ensure manufacturing requirements are delivered on time. This is a hands-on role requiring strong planning, coordination, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Balance demand and production capability across operational delivery units.
* Translate Master Production Schedules into detailed daily manufacturing plans.
* Develop and maintain Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) models.
* Create manufacturing plans that optimise time, cost and quality.
* Maintain accurate MRP data and align requirements with production schedules.
* Release customer requirements to manufacturing teams.
* Produce manufacturing cost estimates and support planning assumptions.
* Apply lean manufacturing techniques, including Kanban, Push/Pull systems and visual management.
* Attend Visual Management meetings and drive actions to completion.
* Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Identify and resolve planning and production issues proactively.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Maintain high standards of health, safety, security, environmental compliance and quality.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in production, manufacturing or project planning.
* Strong knowledge of RCCP and capacity planning processes.
* Experience using MRP systems.
* Understanding of lean planning and production control methodologies.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Ability to challenge, influence and coordinate across multiple teams.
* Experience producing cost estimates and KPI reporting.
* Proactive, solution-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills.
* Ability to obtain required security clearance.
