Role Overview

Our client, a well-established energy company, is seeking an experienced and organised BI Support Administrator to join its Business Improvement team at Sizewell.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated administrator with strong IT and data management skills to support organisational learning, business improvement and performance reporting.

The role involves processing and analysing data from internal and industry-wide events, supporting the Corrective Action Programme (CAP), maintaining the department's intranet site and assisting with the production of station Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports.

Once fully trained, there may be an opportunity to work from home one day per week. Flexible start and finish times may also be discussed and agreed, subject to business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process daily Condition Reports (CRs), including entering and coding data within specialist software to support trend analysis.
  • Coordinate and prepare electronic and paper packs for high-level meetings, visits and organisational learning activities.
  • Collate and produce management information, including action reports, keyword searches, subject trend reports and monthly departmental dashboards.
  • Support month-end activities by assisting station teams, group representatives and Department Evaluators with the closure of actions and ensuring data is accurate and up to date within the Asset Management Suite (AMS).
  • Produce Organisational Learning Reports using Business Objects and, in the future, Power BI.
  • Take meeting notes, record actions and monitor progress.
  • Coordinate station actions across various software packages and systems.
  • Extract and collate data for quarterly organisational trend reports.
  • Support the Human Performance Leader with trend analysis and monthly reporting.
  • Upload Learning Briefs to the intranet-based software library as required.
  • Provide administrative support for departmental activities and high-profile visits, including security access, room bookings, records, enrolment, session outputs and IT access.
  • Manage CAP process email correspondence and provide ongoing administrative support to ensure the process runs smoothly.
  • Undertake general office administration, including answering telephone calls, ordering stationery, computers and office equipment, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Raise tickets to report defects, issues or areas requiring attention.
  • Update documents, procedures and departmental records.
  • Following appropriate training, act as a Department Evaluator for the CAP process and support other departments with related activities.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Strong IT skills, including data entry, spreadsheet manipulation, report generation and intranet updates.
  • Experience using a range of computer software and business systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, OneNote, document control systems and reporting tools.
  • Experience with Business Objects, Asset Management Suite (AMS), Power BI, intranet platforms or workflow systems would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, data accuracy and administrative support.
