Careers with a leading low-carbon energy organisation

EDF is one of the UK's largest low-carbon electricity generators and is delivering some of the country's most significant energy infrastructure programmes. Through Rullion, candidates can access opportunities across EDF's operational nuclear power stations and Nuclear New Build programmes, including Hinkley Point C, gaining experience in highly regulated and technically complex environments.

Many contractors choose EDF because of the scale and longevity of the work. Assignments typically run for 6–12 months, offering greater continuity alongside the opportunity to develop specialist expertise. With opportunities across multiple EDF sites throughout the UK, experience gained on one programme can also support progression as projects and careers develop.

EDF continues to make significant long-term investment in UK nuclear, from its existing nuclear fleet to new generation at Hinkley Point C. Working to EDF's engineering, safety and quality standards also gives candidates experience that is highly valued across the wider nuclear industry.

EDF itself describes Hinkley Point C as an opportunity to work alongside leading nuclear experts and develop a career within one of the UK's major new nuclear programmes.

Rullion supports EDF through contingent hiring and selected permanent recruitment through RPO, alongside Early Careers programmes for graduates, apprentices and interns. Where specific skills gaps exist, our Train to Deploy solution can also support the upskilling or retraining of candidates into defined roles.

Alongside career opportunities, candidates receive dedicated support from Rullion throughout their assignment. From onboarding and compliance to regular check-ins and contractor wellbeing, our Account Management team works closely with EDF to make each stage of the journey as straightforward as possible.
