Hours of work: 40 hours per week

Role information:

We are recruiting a Planning Engineer to support the development, management and reporting of project programmes across pre construction, construction and commissioning phases. You will play a key role in planning activities, coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders, and ensuring project schedules are accurately prepared, maintained and communicated

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare project programmes, updates and submissions in line with planning requirements.
* Develop resource loaded schedules, timelines and supporting reports.
* Review weekly look ahead schedules and highlight risks or delays.
* Produce feasibility and option selection programmes.
* Support change control processes including assessing and updating programme impacts.
* Allow for risk, safety, environmental and operational factors within programmes.
* Collaborate with engineering, construction teams, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
* Attend weekly planning, progress and coordination meetings.
* Prepare visual planning material and contribute to 4D sequencing where required.
* Review daily records to identify progress concerns or potential delays.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

* Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (or equivalent).
* Minimum 3 years' experience preparing project programmes for engineering or construction projects.
* Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing and outputs.
* Working knowledge of contractual planning obligations.
* Proficient in planning software and Microsoft Project.
* Competent user of Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to prepare quantities, outputs, rates and durations.
* Experience producing and reviewing resource loaded programmes.

Desirable
* Software certifications (planning tools).
* SMSTS.
* Experience using PowerBI or similar applications.
* Experience contributing to 4D planning
