Role information:

We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to support a specialist organisation responsible for maintaining and supporting a wide range of avionics, electronics, and technical components. The team plays a key role in ensuring operational capability across the UK's defence environment, delivering high quality and cost effective support solutions.
This role involves contributing to the full lifecycle of supply chain activity, ensuring accurate data management, effective planning, and strong coordination across multiple operational areas. The successful candidate will help maintain the availability and performance of essential equipment through structured supply chain processes.

Create and maintain item data records within logistics information systems to support optimised through life supply chain operations.
Develop demand and supply plans for assigned equipment ranges, working within financial delegation limits and using approved planning tools.
Support the identification and implementation of optimal storage and distribution solutions based on operational requirements.
Produce customs documentation to ensure compliance with relevant regulations for moving inventory into and out of the UK.
Ensure all inventory is accurately accounted for, both materially and financially, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Coordinate timely inventory disposal activity and ensure all documentation and data is correctly completed.
Support the development of supply chain requirements for new or updated support solutions.
Conduct defined checks and audits to ensure adherence to supply chain policy and process.

Qualifications/Experience Required

Experience working within a supply chain or logistics environment.
Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service skills.
Ability to manage activity within defined budgets.
Competence in data handling, interpretation, and reporting.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
Full UK driving licence.
