Job title - Bim Coordinator

Duration - Permanent

Start date - Looking for someone to start in May 2026 (subject to being medically and security cleared)

Shift patterns - Mon-Fri 37.5hours per week (fully onsite)

Pay rate - upto £45k per annum + benefits

Location - Workington

Purpose of the Role


To manage BIM and digital systems and activities to ensure they are completed in line with the agreed scope and programme with the following key objectives.
1.1. Compliance with BS EN 19650.
1.2. Compliance with Client BIM and digital requirements.
1.3. Alignment of systems, procedures and applications to support efficiency, safety, quality and collaboration across partners, client, asset owners and stakeholders


Demonstrate understanding of construction methods and outputs.

Competent use of industry CAD, BIM and other infrastructure software.

Understanding of Sellafield specific BIM and digital procedures and applications.

Role Accountabilities


3.1. Acceptance and implementation of BIM Execution Plans and associated tools
3.2. Establish and manage the contract CDE and information systems
3.3. Task Team compliance with delivering information in accordance with BS EN 19650 and the MIDP
3.4. Ensuring effective communication between Client, lead supplier and task teams
3.5. Develop, implement and manage digital applications in accordance with BEP
3.6. Training and assisting staff and others in BIM, digital tools and suing systems correctly for overall contract efficiency and quality
3.7. Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, solibri and related products would be advantageous.
3.8. Lead clash detection, spatial coordination, and issue resolution.

Required SQEP and Project knowledge


6.1. Must hold an engineering degree in the relevant technical discipline, approved by the Head of Technical Services. BIM Qualification is desirable
6.2. Working knowledge of BS EN ISO 19650 and its implementation
6.3. Understanding of infrastructure design and construction processes
6.4. Working knowledge of core 3D and 2D CAD applications and standards for project models including technical structure of drawings and components suitable for interfacing with other applications
6.5. Working knowledge of multiple CDE and information systems
6.6. Understanding of construction methods and outputs

Use of AutoDesk and other applications

Use of Syncro and digital applications

Use of Microsoft applications to support engineering function and design reporting / communication
