Contract inside IR35 till the end of the year with possible extension
We are seeking an experienced HR Contracts Manager to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in supporting the mobilisation and management of a large, complex workforce while ensuring the effective delivery of workforce-related contracts and supplier partnerships.
Reporting into the HR Leadership Team, you will work closely with Procurement, Legal, Recruitment, Workforce Planning and key business stakeholders to manage workforce supply arrangements and drive supplier performance across the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage workforce-related contracts, including recruitment agencies, managed service providers (MSPs), contingent labour suppliers and other strategic workforce partners.
- Lead supplier relationship management activities, including performance reviews and governance meetings.
- Monitor supplier performance against agreed KPIs, SLAs and contractual obligations.
- Support contract negotiations, renewals, extensions and variations in partnership with Procurement and Legal teams.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, workforce policies, IR35 requirements and project governance standards.
- Analyse workforce data, supplier performance metrics and recruitment trends to provide insights and recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to improve workforce delivery, efficiency and value for money.
- Support workforce mobilisation activities as the project transitions through key phases of development and construction.
- Manage contractual risks and resolve supplier performance issues where required.
- Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure workforce requirements are effectively met.
About You
We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong blend of HR, commercial and contract management expertise.
You will have:
- Experience managing workforce, recruitment or HR-related contracts within a complex organisation.
- Strong supplier relationship management skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of employment legislation and contingent workforce management.
- Commercial awareness and experience working with procurement processes.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Experience operating within highly regulated environments would be advantageous.
Desirable Experience
- Managed Service Provider (MSP) or Vendor Management System (VMS) environments.
- Workforce mobilisation and large-scale recruitment programmes.
- Understanding of IR35 and contingent labour compliance.
