Pay rate: Up to £40 per hour Umbrella DOE
Location: Whitehaven
Hybrid/Remote Working: Minimum 3 days on site per week
Hours of work: 40 hours per week
Role information:
- Project Planning & Initiation: Define project scope, objectives, schedules, resource requirements, and governance arrangements to support successful project delivery.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a key point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective expectation management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Leadership & Coordination: Coordinate and support cross-functional teams, ensuring roles, responsibilities, and deliverables are clearly understood and achieved.
- Budget & Resource Management: Assist in the development, monitoring, and control of project budgets and resource plans to ensure efficient delivery.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks while proactively managing issues, opportunities, and change requests.
- Schedule & Quality Control: Monitor project progress against agreed milestones and ensure deliverables meet required quality standards. Communication & Reporting: Produce project reports, performance updates, and maintain accurate project documentation. Compliance & Governance: Ensure project activities are undertaken in accordance with company procedures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications/Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a project management role within the engineering, construction, or nuclear sectors. Strong understanding of project reporting, planning, and delivery methodologies.
- Experience working closely with planning and cost engineers to drive project performance and reporting.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, positive attitude with the ability to build effective working relationships across multi disciplinary teams
- Experience with Integrated Work Management (IWM) is desirable.
