We are seeking 3 experienced Production Planners to support manufacturing and scientific delivery programmes within a highly regulated environment.
Location: Burghfield (full-time onsite)
Contract: Until 31 December 2027
IR35: Inside IR35
About the Role
You will be responsible for maintaining production schedules, coordinating manufacturing demands, supporting materials planning, and ensuring accurate planning data within MRP/ERP systems. The role requires close collaboration with operations, supply chain, manufacturing teams, and key stakeholders to support successful programme delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update production schedules and forecasts.
- Manage planning activities across manufacturing operations.
- Ensure MRP system data remains accurate and up to date.
- Monitor material availability and production requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean planning practices.
- Produce planning reports and KPI updates.
- Coordinate with internal teams to balance production demands and priorities.
- Identify and resolve planning issues that may impact delivery.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven production planning experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or precision engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and shop-floor operations.
- Experience managing production schedules, materials, supplier deliveries, and forecasting.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong planning, reporting, and general IT skills.
Desirable
- Experience using SAP and other ERP/MRP systems.
