Overhaul & Mods Technician - Bounds Green (x2 Roles)
Location: Bounds Green, London
Contract: Ongoing Contract Opportunity
Shift Pattern:
Typical hours: 06:00 - 17:00
Rotation: 5 on, 4 off, 4 on, 5 off
Rotating shifts across 7 days
- Overtime available - paid at enhanced rate for hours worked over 40
Overview
Opportunity for technicians to support overhaul, maintenance and modification programmes across a modern rolling stock fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out overhaul and heavy maintenance tasks
- Support modification and upgrade activities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
- Undertake software loading where required
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Ensure compliance with depot safety and quality standards
- Maintain accurate job records
Essential Requirements
- Rolling stock or similar engineering background
- Mechanically biased skill set
- NVQ Level 3 Engineering (or equivalent)
