Position: Contract
Location: Bristol / Aztec West
Days on Site: 3 minimum
Duration: Initially until 31st Dec 2026, but could carry over.
Pay: Maximum rates are £138 pay or £185 umbrella
Role Purpose
The Project Coordinator will provide high-quality coordination, reporting and commercial support within a fast-paced Nuclear New Build environment. The role supports delivery of scope under the Responsible Designer and Nuclear Services annual Task Orders, ensuring effective governance, performance visibility and stakeholder engagement across the Technical Directorate.
The postholder will work closely with Commercial Management and Project Managers (PMs) to support cost, scope and delivery oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the coordination and delivery of scope defined within annual Task Orders under the Responsible Designer and Nuclear Services contracts.
- Provide proactive support to Commercial Management team and Project Managers
- Maintain Reports, action trackers and performance logs related to post design delivery and three stage control audits .
- Ensure weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting outputs are delivered on time and in line with agreed quality standards.
- Support the preparation of reporting packs, dashboards and presentation materials for governance forums.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to encourage collaboration between delivery teams, consultants and partner NNB entities.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams and leadership levels.
- Provide general coordination and business support across the project/programme as required.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Experience working within a fast-paced project or programme environment with changing priorities.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines calmly and effectively.
- Good understanding of commercial and project management principles, including cost tracking, risk management and performance reporting.
- Strong analytical capability - able to extract, interpret and present data clearly and accurately.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to identify and implement improvements to processes
