Location: Manchester City Centre (Office-Based)
Background Checks: DBS and Basic Credit Check Required
We're looking for a Reconciliations Advisor to join our Co-op Business Services (CBS) finance team. In this role, we'll look to you to take ownership of account reconciliations, including vendor supplier accounts, to make sure they're accurate and up to date. If you're looking to develop your reconciliation skills, this role will provide great experience to support this. You'll also have an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to work in the wider CBS team.
What you'll do
* Produce supplier account reconciliations and work with suppliers to make sure their accounts and balances are up to date
* Complete bank account reconciliations, and work through any resulting queries
* Work with other teams across Source 2 Pay (S2P) & the wider CBS team to understand and resolve queries resulting from the reconciliations
* Run reports to check duplications across SAP and various legacy systems
* Maintain payment blocks in SAP to ensure they are dealt with in a timely manner to avoid payment delays.
* Demonstrate great customer service skills to get any issues identified resolved quickly.
This role would suit people who have
* Previous reconciliations experience
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills - you're comfortable using pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
* The ability to analyse large sets of data with good attention to detail
* Great communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to internal/external partners in a clear way
* The ability to work independently with a good attention to detail and manage your own workload keeping a flexible and adaptable attitude
* Finance systems experience - SAP experience would be beneficial but not essential.
