Coordination of maintenance and repair works in communal and tenant areas of the commercial buildings, liaising with the Estates department and tenants accordingly

* Work independently to manage and successfully deliver small & ad-hoc projects requiring prioritisation, overseeing contract work, liaising with other departments

* Organising & observing fire evacuations in commercial buildings. Creating and maintaining schedules and providing records to the Fire Safety & Security team in order to maintain UKAEA records of risk assessments and responsible persons to share with other internal stakeholders as appropriate. Ensuring that actions from drill observations are reported, actioned and closed out.

* Working with the Buildings & Facilities Manager to ensure that key milestones, such as tenant periodic reviews, fire evacuations, legionella risk and communal building area inspections etc. are met. Maintain accurate records of actions raised by either tenants or UKAEA and ensure these are closed out by the appropriate department

* Responsible as first point of contact for tenant issues. This will include ensuring Helpdesk tickets are raised and engaging effectively with multiple UKAEA departments, to influence and co-ordinate works to achieve timely progress and resolution of projects.
* Produce reports and statistics as required to identify and analyse any trends

* Reviewing, creating, and implementing existing and new processes and procedures as required in the Commercial Property department.
* Identify and promote opportunities for continuous improvement across UKAEA departments

* Work collaboratively with Maintenance teams and the commercial tenants to facilitate new and replacement system installations in both tenanted and common areas of the commercial buildings to enable projects to be carried out

*Organising Quarterly Tenant Security Meetings in collaboration with the Business Resilience Department
* Represent the Commercial Property team acting as tenant liaison as a member of the site Crisis Management Team (CMT). Attend any
RADSAFE exercise and attend weekly Security Threat and Business Continuity Briefing held by the Business Resilience Team

Experience Required:
Demonstrable knowledge of working within a Buildings and Facilities environment.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven high quality customer service skills & be customer driven
* Ability to negotiate & work on initiative to resolve problems
* A strong team worker with a proactive willing attitude
* Ability to network and build relationships
* Solid organisational skills including multitasking, time management skills with ability to prioritise
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* The role requires a wide knowledge as has a large component which is reactive
* Assertive when dealing with contractors to ensure that instructions are understood and followed and must be able to challenge poor performance
* Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and extensive knowledge of UKAEA systems and procedures
