The Opportunity

We're looking for a Delivery Engineer to support the successful delivery of major infrastructure / energy projects. This is a key role sitting between engineering and project delivery - ideal for someone with a strong Project Management background who can coordinate multidisciplinary teams and drive projects forward.

Importantly, this role is sector-agnostic - experience in wind is not essential. We're open to candidates from across energy, utilities, infrastructure, or large-scale construction environments.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering and project teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget
  • Act as the central point of communication across engineering, delivery, and stakeholder groups
  • Manage and challenge technical inputs to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance
  • Oversee design coordination, technical specifications, and risk management across project phases
  • Support delivery from early development through to construction and commissioning
  • Coordinate contractors, consultants, and third parties to ensure aligned delivery
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and best practice sharing across projects
  • Provide regular updates, reporting, and escalation where required

What We're Looking For

  • Strong background as a Project Manager / Project Engineer / Delivery Engineer
  • Experience delivering complex infrastructure, energy, or construction projects
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - this is critical
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines and teams
  • Understanding of engineering design, construction processes, and project lifecycle delivery
  • Proven experience managing risk, programme, and quality
  • Degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience) preferred
  • Project Management qualifications (e.g. APM, PRINCE2) beneficial but not essential
  • Willingness to travel to the Edinburgh office as required
