With a clear product vision and proven commercial potential, we are seeking a Senior Engineer to play a key role in building the platform and establishing the foundations of a new digital business.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a start-up-style environment, enjoys solving complex challenges, and is passionate about creating products from the ground up. Working closely with the Product Manager and Solution Architect, you will have significant influence over technology choices, engineering standards, and delivery practices as we evolve an early-stage concept into a scalable, production-ready solution.
This is a full-time, 3-month contract with a hybrid working model and occasional office attendance as required.
Accountabilities:
- Lead the engineering delivery of a prototype, transforming it into a secure, scalable, and production-ready platform.
- Design, build, and deploy cloud-native solutions using modern development, DevOps, and AI-assisted engineering tools.
- Define and implement technical architecture, development standards, CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, security controls, and operational processes.
- Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining high levels of quality, reliability, and maintainability.
- Deliver integrations with CRM platforms, public data services, pricing engines, and future partner ecosystems.
- Rapidly convert product concepts into working software, enabling continuous testing, learning, and iteration.
- Support the development of the future engineering function, technical roadmap, and operating model.
Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with React, TypeScript/JavaScript, APIs, Azure, and cloud-native application architectures.
- Proven track record of delivering products from concept, prototype, or MVP through to live production environments.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, security, and modern software engineering principles.
- Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments where priorities can change quickly.
- Proactive, pragmatic, and solution-focused mindset with a passion for building innovative products.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
