Role information:
We are seeking an experienced Workstream Lead to drive the delivery of a complex portfolio of strategic projects focused on strengthening programme resilience and accelerating mission-critical delivery. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Projects, you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple interrelated projects, ensuring effective management of budgets, resources, risks, governance, and delivery schedules.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders to initiate and shape projects that remove operational vulnerabilities, improve programme resilience, and deliver strategic benefits. The role requires strong leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage change, challenge existing ways of working, and drive continuous improvement across project teams.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-impact strategic projects within a demanding and fast-paced operational environment.
Qualifications/Experience Required
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or a related discipline, with 10+ years' project management experience in complex regulated environments and APM qualification (or equivalent).
