Role Title: Senior Project Manager
Role Type: Full-Time, Contract - 24 months

Locations: Somerset - FT onsite
Hours of work: 37 hours per week / 4 day working week
Salary: Inside IR35
Role Overview
Lead the delivery of infrastructure projects at Hinkley Point A, ensuring objectives are met safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Provide direction, governance, and oversight to multi-disciplinary teams in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with contractual, legal, and safety requirements.
Lead and motivate project teams, monitoring performance and progress against schedules, budgets, and milestones.
Establish project baselines and manage planning, cost, risk, and change control.
Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and opportunities to prevent delivery issues.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams.
Oversee CDM responsibilities and promote health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Capture lessons learned and implement best practices to improve project delivery.
Support team development through mentoring, performance management, and training.
Essential Requirements
Degree or professional qualification in a relevant discipline.
Recognised project management certification (e.g., APM PMQ).
Proven experience delivering multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects in regulated industries.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage project governance, planning, cost control, and risk.
Desirable Experience
Safety leadership qualifications (SMSTS, IOSH, or equivalent).
Knowledge of CDM regulations and implementation.
