Job title - Precision Machine Training
Duration - 12 months contract
Location: Reading
Start date - ASAP (subject to being medically and security cleared)
Shift patterns - 37 hours per week and 7.4 hour days. Fully onsite
Pay rate - Pay Rate to Candidate: £59.03 P/HOUR umbrella // £43.49 P/HOUR paye - Inside IR35
Experience:
* 2/3 years competent machining experience (dependant on individuals skill level)
* Proficiency with both Shop Mill & Shop turn and Manual Milling and Turning activities.
* Willingness to challenge poor behaviours and role company behaviours.
* Support safe working practices.
* Willing to complete an Enhanced DBS assessment.
* Show leadership accountabilities at First Level.
Some of the key responsibilities within the role will be:
* Providing adequate supervision of the activities within their scope of responsibilities.
* Responsible for the deliverables of the training programme within the business area.
* Create training and development plans that address programme needs and expectations.
* Deploy a wide variety of training methods as determined by the training needs analysis.
* Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions as required.
* Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them, ensuring that training interventions are cost effective and deliver value for money. Audit external training providers to determine effectiveness.
* Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary.
* Maintain close links with relevant HR teams to ensure close alignment to company-wide developments linked to training and competence.

Previous Authority Experience: Public or Private, focus on Engineering/Manufacturing
Quals: NVQ L3, ENGINEERING QUALS or Equivalent // NVQ L4 would be ideal
