Hours of work: Up to 40 Hours Per Week

The Role:
As an I&C System Engineer, you'll oversee, coordinate, and provide technical expertise across a wide range of Instrumentation & Control (I&C) systems, ensuring design integrity, compliance, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate contractors designing, implementing, and commissioning I&C systems (nuclear and conventional).
* Support the Design Authority in accepting I&C designs, managing design changes, and maintaining knowledge management systems.
* Define and validate client system requirements, assess contractor deliverables, and ensure design compliance with scope, schedule, and budget.
* Collaborate closely with site engineering, procurement, quality, and construction teams to resolve non-conformances.
* Support design assurance by maintaining traceable, verifiable, and validated configurations.
* Review documentation such as the Preliminary Safety Analysis Report (POSAR) and other key project documents.

Experience/Qualifications:
*Master's degree Instrumentation, Electrical, or Control Engineering.
*5+ years of experience in I&C systems engineering, ideally in nuclear or other Highly Regulated Sector
*Strong understanding of control systems, communication networks, and design integration.
*Fluent in Dutch (required) and English.
*Skilled in contractor management, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
