Are you looking to contribute to one of the most exciting scientific missions of our time? This is your chance to play a key role in advancing the development of sustainable nuclear fusion energy - a clean, safe, and limitless energy source for the future.

We are recruiting a Technical Coordinator to support a world-leading research programme in fusion energy. This role sits within the Tritium Fuel Cycle (TFC) division, which is at the forefront of designing, developing, and operating pioneering tritium life cycle facilities. The division is driving innovation and collaboration to accelerate the realisation of a commercially viable fusion tritium life cycle.

The Role
As a Technical Coordinator, you'll provide professional and efficient project support across multiple engineering and research projects. You will ensure technical information, documentation, and processes are managed effectively to enable teams of scientists and engineers to deliver high-impact work.

You will:
* Act as the Local Information Manager (LIM) for assigned projects, managing technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
* Maintain and update project databases and trackers (quality control, procurement, changes).
* Support preparation of technical reports, specifications, and tender documents.
* Organise technical meetings, produce agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
* Provide guidance and support to colleagues on documentation management and database systems.
* Assist managers with procurement and project-related processes.
* Share knowledge across the team, supporting continuous improvement and onboarding of new staff.

About You
We're looking for someone who thrives in a technical project environment and enjoys bringing order, structure, and clarity to complex information. You'll need:
* A relevant qualification (HNC, apprenticeship, or equivalent) in Business, Science or Engineering.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
* Proficiency with MS Office tools and SharePoint.
* Excellent communication skills, with confidence working across multi-disciplinary teams.
* Technical report writing experience.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Desirable skills include prior experience in project support, quality management systems, or engineering procurement.

Why Apply?
This is a rare opportunity to support groundbreaking projects that will shape the future of global energy. You'll be working in a collaborative and innovative environment, surrounded by world-class experts, with access to hybrid working arrangements and the possibility of a long-term career within this pioneering field.

Join and be part of the team turning fusion energy from a scientific ambition into a practical reality.
