Job Title: Senior Cost Specialist
Job Type: Contract
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Start Date: Subject to clearance
Duration: 6 months
Pay Rate: £56.26 per hour PAYE / £75.73 per hour umbrella
Location: Reading (fully on site)
Hours of Work: 66 hours per week - 11 days on / 3 days off
Role Information:
- Develop and manage the project budget
- Monitor and control the resource and financial forecast data
- Manage the cost risk budget and provide input into the risk management process
- Responsible for overseeing financial change management on the project and ensuring they are aligned with the requirements of the business
- Monitoring internal/external financial performance as well as cost reports
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- CSCS card or the ability to obtain
- Experience with NEC 3/4 contracts
- Minimum HNC in Cost Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- Strong working knowledge of cost management techniques
- Highly regulated industry experience (nuclear, defence, oil/gas, aerospace, rail)
UK National Security Vetting Status: BPSS clearance
