Role Overview:
The Estimator will be responsible for the financial costing and planning of construction projects. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates and budgets to ensure projects are delivered within financial and contractual parameters, supporting tender submissions, contract negotiations, and ongoing cost monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for building works, including materials, labour, plant, equipment, subcontractors, and overheads.
Analyse technical drawings, specifications, and market rates to ensure accurate project costing.
Support tender submissions and contract negotiations with precise financial information.
Monitor project costs, valuations, and progress payments throughout the construction lifecycle.
Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to align design objectives with budget constraints.
Identify potential cost risks early and propose value engineering solutions to maintain project viability.
Provide commercial insight and analysis to support informed decision-making across all project phases.

Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector.
Strong understanding of construction methods, technical drawings, and building specifications.
Excellent numerical, analytical, and commercial awareness skills.
Experience managing budgets and providing accurate cost estimates.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
