Seeking an experienced Product Manager / Technical Specialist with a strong background in finance, investment, or banking systems to lead a 6-month program focused on streamlining ways of working. The ideal candidate will combine product-led thinking with technical fluency and in-depth domain expertise in the investment sector, ensuring strategic alignment between business needs, technology capabilities, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for investment-related systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with stakeholders across investment, operations, technology, and compliance to define priorities and success measures.
  • Conduct a current-state assessment of systems, processes, and workflows, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for automation and simplification.
  • Lead process redesign initiatives to streamline ways of working, improve data quality, and enhance user experience.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable product specifications and technical requirements.
  • Work closely with engineering and data teams to deliver enhancements, integrations, and upgrades to investment platforms.
  • Oversee change management activities, including training, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Measure and report on the success of changes, iterating as needed to maximise value delivery.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record as a Product Manager or equivalent leadership role in the investment, asset management, or banking sector.
  • Strong understanding of investment products, portfolio management systems, trading platforms, and regulatory considerations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead product development and improvement programs with a product-led mindset.
  • Technical fluency with experience in system integrations, data management, and workflow automation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to bridge the gap between technical teams and business leadership.
  • Experience delivering change in complex, regulated environments.
