According to research an estimated 21 million people worldwide, including children, are victims of forced labour. Everyone has a responsibility to work towards ending these conditions. Rullion is committed to conducting its business in a manner that ensures the absence of slavery and human trafficking in its supply chain. In addition to Rullion&rsquo;s commitment described above, the Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires companies who transact business in the United Kingdom to disclose their efforts to eradicate slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour (&ldquo;Slavery&rdquo;) as well as human trafficking from their supply chains and in their own businesses. .

For example, Rullion identifies and utilises suppliers who share Rullion's commitment to ensure the absence of slavery and human trafficking in its supply chain. While compliance is self-certifying, Rullion reserves the right for itself or through third party auditors, to conduct, or have conducted on its behalf, unannounced or announced audits of business practices to monitor suppliers' commitments.
Rullion ensures strict compliance checks are carried for all candidates it supplies. We verify the identity of each worker and their right to work before supply commences.
<h4>Training &amp; Accountability</h4>
Rullion is committed to implementing and maintaining ongoing training of its employees and management on slavery and human trafficking to ensure the Rullion workforce is able to identify signs of modern slavery and understands how to act if they do so. Rullion is also committed to mitigating these risks in its supply chains. Rullion also maintains internal accountability standards and procedures for employees or contractors failing to meet company standards regarding slavery and trafficking.
 Our policies are regularly reviewed and communicated to staff through training and briefings to ensure our employees understand how to comply with all laws and to act in accordance with regulations as well as with integrity and honesty.
<h4>Our Supply Chains</h4>
Our supply chains primarily include sourcing candidates for clients. This may involve the introduction by external agencies to Rullion of candidates for onward supply to our clients. We expect the highest ethical and compliance standards from our suppliers and potential suppliers and adherence to our Modern Slavery Statement and terms of business. We also expect our suppliers to promote similar standards in their own supply chain. If we identify parts of our supply chain, where there is a risk of slavery and human trafficking, we will take the necessary steps to mitigate the risk.
By accepting purchase orders from Rullion, each supplier agrees to be bound by our policies. Among other assurances, this requires suppliers to certify that materials incorporated into the product comply with the laws regarding slavery and human trafficking of the country or countries in which they are doing business. Once a job offer has been made to you, we will request personal information from third parties such as references from former employees, information from employment background check providers and information from criminal record checks. We will inform you that we are making this request.

In certain cases, our clients may require certain sensitive personal data from you (that is, information about your racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade union activity, physical or mental health, sexual life, or details of criminal offences) This data will only be collected with your explicit consent.

When we ask you to supply us with personal data we will make it clear whether the personal data we are asking for must be supplied so that we can provide our services to you, or whether the supply of any personal data we ask for is optional.

As a business Rullion has identified Legitimate Interest as a primary basis for the holding of candidate data where the information has been provided by:

When a CV is added to the Rullion database an acknowledgement is automatically sent to the candidate to advise accordingly. A candidate can request to be removed from the database at any time.
Based on right to represent
The collection of personal data based on the Right to Represent of an individual for a specific role. (as per the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Business Regulations 2003) A client may require additional information to be provided to consider a candidate for a role. This will be provided by the individual on request and stored and documented on our or the client&rsquo;s systems.&nbsp;
Based on performance of a contract
We may use personal information for fulfilling our obligations related to contracts and agreements, or take steps linked to a contract:

<li>To communicate with you in relation to the provision of the contract</li>
<li>To provide you with administrative support such as account creation, security and payroll related services</li>

<h4>How long do we keep your personal data?</h4>
Where there is a contract between us, we will retain your personal data for the duration of the contract, and a period of six years&rsquo; followings its termination or expiry, to ensure we are able to comply with any contractual, legal, audit and other regulatory requirements, or any orders from competent courts or authorities.
This will lead to the creation of a &ldquo;stub&rdquo; record which will retain the required information whilst obfuscating any personally identifiable information that is no longer required.
NB. Health &amp; Safety information is required to be kept for a period of 40 years.
A candidate who has not been placed by us - details are stored for a period of 3 years from the date of last contact. We endeavour to keep our records up to date and intend to contact you regularly to ensure the information we hold is up to date. However, we really appreciate if you let us know if your details change.
If you want to withdraw your consent to e-marketing, please make use of the link to manage your subscriptions included in our communications. Please note that you may still receive administrative messages and communications from Rullion Ltd if you are in contract through us.
<h4>Where do we store your personal data and how is it protected?</h4>
We store your personal data in secure data centres in the UK. We take reasonable steps to protect your personal data from loss or destruction. We also have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data breaches. We will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data security breach where we are legally required to do so.
Where you have a username or password which enables you to access certain services or parts of our website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.
Despite all precautions however, no data transmission over the internet can be 100% secure. Your local contact will discuss the issue with you and look to rectify the matter quickly and to your satisfaction.
If you are a temporary worker and have a problem regarding your wages, please contact your local office using the telephone number on your timesheet.

The director&rsquo;s decision will be final.</li>
<li>We aim to acknowledge, investigate and resolve all complaints within&nbsp;30&nbsp;working days&nbsp;of receipt (subject to it being a Subject Access Request - see below).</li>
<li>If we have not had a response from you after&nbsp;30 days, your complaint will be closed and confirmation of this will be sent to you. If you wish to re-open your complaint, you may do so.</li>
