Build the Future with the UK's Largest Infrastructure Project

We're recruiting an Integration Engineer to join the Delivery Integration Team at Hinkley Point C, one of the largest and most complex construction projects in Europe. This is a unique opportunity for Mechanical or Electrical professionals to apply their technical acumen to a project shaping the UK's energy future.

The Role

As an Integration Engineer, you'll play a critical role in shaping the delivery schedule 16+ weeks ahead of implementation. You'll ensure that construction sequences are both logical and achievable - across rotating systems, electrical installations, complex structures and commissioning interfaces.

You'll work cross-functionally with teams in Engineering, Project Controls, Construction, Procurement, Logistics, and Commissioning to ensure readiness in materials, labour, equipment and data before work kicks off.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Review construction sequences and ensure they are executable within constraints
  • Analyse and coordinate labour, materials, and equipment readiness
  • Identify and help resolve delivery "hotspots" to maintain key project milestones
  • Support delivery of Work Pack and Interface Data Sheet procedures
  • Interrogate project plans (P6), extract data for analysis (Excel), and present findings
  • Use tools like Navisworks/Synchro for 3D and 4D schedule visualisation
  • Liaise with engineering and planning teams to resolve sequencing issues

What You'll Bring to the Project

  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical Engineering or Construction Management (or significant equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years' experience delivering large or complex engineering or construction projects
  • Strong understanding of planning tools (P6), model interrogation (Navisworks), Excel/PowerPoint
  • Excellent problem-solving and coordination skills across disciplines
  • Clear and concise communicator, able to influence and build consensus

Ideal Candidate Experience

  • Nuclear construction or highly regulated industry background
  • IOSH Managing Safely or other construction H&S qualification
  • Familiarity with PowerBI and/or French language skills
