Build the Future with the UK's Largest Infrastructure Project

Are you a seasoned civils professional with a strong track record delivering major infrastructure projects? This is your opportunity to play a key role in one of the UK's most ambitious and complex construction programmes - the Sizewell C Nuclear New Build.

We're looking for a Delivery Manager to lead the execution of critical civils packages across Groundworks, Earthworks and Site Infrastructure on a multi-billion-pound infrastructure project. You'll be at the forefront of delivering complex works in a high-regulation environment, ensuring everything is completed safely, on time, to budget and to spec.

Principal Accountabilities
* Manage day-to-day site supervision of civils construction activities (earthworks, deep excavations, concrete structures, roads, drainage etc.).
* Take responsibility for Principal Contractor duties in line with CDM 2015 regulations.
* Coordinate across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) phases.
* Ensure works are fully integrated with logistics, quality, planning, safety, and programme teams.
* Monitor milestones, track risks, and report on progress and performance metrics.
* Drive HSEQ compliance and continuous improvement culture across all site activities.
* Liaise closely with contractors, supply chain partners, and internal teams to deliver outcomes to the highest standard.
* Support pre-construction planning to ensure seamless interface management and logistics coordination.

What You'll Bring to the Project
* Proven experience managing heavy civils works on major infrastructure or energy projects (e.g., nuclear, rail, highways, water, utilities, tunnelling).
* Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations, NEC contracts, and the delivery lifecycle of large EPCM projects.
* Skilled in managing complex stakeholders - internal teams, subcontractors, local authorities, and regulators.
* Comfortable with cost, schedule and risk management; experience with Earned Value and project controls tools.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills - both on-site and in the boardroom.
* Ideally degree-qualified in engineering, construction management or similar (Chartered status desirable).

Ideal Candidate Experience
* Major civil engineering contractors
* Infrastructure megaprojects (e.g., HS2, Crossrail, Hinkley Point C, Tideway)
* Heavy construction or utilities sectors
* High-risk, regulated environments (nuclear, oil & gas, energy)
