Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager
Job Type: Permanent Staff
Start Date: As soon as possible subject to clearance
Salary Range: £50,000 per annum
Location: Seascale, Cumbria (hybrid working available)
Hours of work: 37-40 hours per week
Role & Responsibilities:
- Ensure daily/weekly design allocation targets are met by working with other members of the team to identify key priority areas.
- Ensure engineering design allocation correspondence in email format is addressed and closed out
- Ensuring pre-installation quality assurance checks take place in a timely manner
- Ensuring all design changes picked up during pre-installation QA checks are passed back to the design allocation team
- Ensuring all design changes are recorded and any new designs are accepted by engineering team
- Responsible for ensuring that site installation records are checked
- Ensure post installation issues are addressed by construction team
- Management and tracking of adhoc actions that come from the client and management
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- Experience in a Quality discipline
- Experience of overseeing a team and working above a Quality Engineer
- Experience in fire protection and/or the nuclear industry
- Experience of developing, planning and undertaking oversight and assurance assessment activities before reporting outcomes to the business, both verbally and written.
