The Role

At VPI, safety, reliability and environmental protection are at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for a proactive, adaptable individual who thrives in a dynamic industrial environment to support our maintenance and site operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and distributing the daily maintenance schedule, working closely with Maintenance Team Leads and Technicians.
  • Supporting all contractor-related maintenance activities, ensuring efficient coordination.
  • Managing tools and equipment registers, ensuring timely inspections and certifications.
  • Overseeing key site service contracts including cranes, scaffolding, insulation, lagging, painting and cleaning.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for a range of plant services including waste management, site cleaning, tooling and stores.
  • Assisting with updating maintenance instructions and procedures.
  • Providing cover for the site stores during periods of absence.

What we're looking for

We're seeking someone who brings technical knowledge and a team-oriented approach:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, etc.) - strong IT skills are essential.
  • Knowledge or experience with Maximo asset management system is a big advantage.
  • Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive learner with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet changing business needs.
  • Committed to promoting high standards of safety and environmental integrity.
