Pay rate: £16.88 - £21.98 per hour, PAYE/Umbrella.
Location: Leiston, Suffolk.
Hours of work: 37 hours per week, 5 days
As a Semi-Skilled Operative, your primary role will be monitoring the operations of our Distributed Computer System (DCS). You will be responsible for supporting the maintenance and operation of a wide variety of plant systems at Sizewell B Power Station. As a secondary role, you will be required to assist technicians in a range of areas to support the maintenance teams key roles.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate of the following skills/experience:

* IT literacy.
* Experience working within a diverse team is preferred.

* Professional attitude.
* Ability to interpret a multitude of data points within computer systems.

Role information:

* Monitor the distributed computer system to ensure smooth, efficient and safe operation of plant processes.
* Support the maintenance team in their routine checks, maintenance and calibrations on plants instrumentation.
* Communicate a range of accurate data to multiple working parties, using clear communication techniques.
* Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
* Actively engage with maintenance team leaders on a daily basis to best support maintenance activities.
* Understand and uphold nuclear safety standards
