Are you a skilled project or contract management professional ready to make a real impact? We're hiring a Contract Project Manager to join our rapidly growing Sizewell C (SZC) team. You'll play a key role in delivering one of the UK's largest low-carbon energy infrastructure projects-powering millions of homes while supporting our nation's Net Zero goals.
About the Role
This interim position will see you leading the contract management of the Nuclear Services Agreement (NSA) within the Conventional Island and Balance of Plant programme. You'll ensure contract compliance, monitor performance, and enable timely delivery-working closely with commercial, technical, and delivery teams across the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead contract management and performance oversight of the NSA and ancillary contracts.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and manage changes.
- Report on contract metrics, budgets, and deliverables.
- Facilitate meetings, escalate risks, and ensure contract tools and governance processes are maintained.
- Support technical teams in managing delivery expectations and engineering inputs.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in major infrastructure projects (nuclear sector preferred).
- Solid understanding of contract management practices.
- Strong interpersonal, organisational, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently, juggle multiple tasks, and resolve issues proactively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management tools.
Desirable:
- Engineering or project management background in the nuclear sector.
- Familiarity with EPR projects and design.
- French language skills.
- Previous involvement in the Hinkley Point C project.
- Membership of a professional body (e.g., APM, ICE, or equivalent).
- Chartered status or working towards it.
