Salary: £30,301 (rising to £32,280 after training)
Hours: 37 per week | Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm

About the Role:
Our client works with local authorities and housing developers across the Midlands, delivering essential connection and jointing services on DNO and IDNO networks. As a Trainee Jointer Mate, you'll play a vital role in supporting projects that keep communities connected and safe.
What You'll Do:
- Assist jointers with the preparation and jointing of cables.
- Learn how to safely excavate and reinstate joint holes on footpaths, newbuild sites, and existing roads.
- Support the installation and maintenance of street lighting and highway electrical equipment.
- Drive and operate company vehicles appropriate to the role (training provided).
- Carry out risk assessments and follow safety procedures at all times.
- Work as part of a team or independently as your skills develop.
- Contribute to ICP connection projects and highway lighting projects across regional areas.

What You Need:
- NRSWA Card- Essential
- Emergency First Aid at Work certification
- CSCS (Affiliated card)
- Manual Handling certification
- Full clean UK driving licence and own transport
- Previous site labouring experience and digging skills
- Comfortable working outdoors year-round
