Hours of work: 37 hours per week

Qualifications/Experience:
*Degree qualified or time served in the relevant engineering discipline
*Strong background in Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) design within aerospace.
*Proficient in CATIA V5 and/or 3DExperience CAD tools.
*Knowledge of R&T environments, procedures, and demonstrator development processes.
*Experience in risk analysis, functional analysis, and technical documentation.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Role information:
We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to cutting-edge Research & Technology (R&T) projects, including future WING design. You will play a key role in designing electrical connection elements and associated technologies within an aeronautical environment, specifically in the wing domain.

*You will develop and deliver design office outputs for R&T projects under the guidance of technical leaders.
*You will take ownership of a full work package, from concept to final maturity level.
*You will conduct pre-studies, technological comparisons, and state-of-the-art research.
*You will prepare simulations, engineering notes, calculation sheets, and risk/functional analyses.
*You will create technical specifications and documentation for TRL justification.
*You will produce detailed 3D and 2D designs using CATIA V5 and/or 3DExperience.
*You will select and liaise with manufacturing and test partners, ensuring progress and compliance.
*You will validate prototypes and develop test plans, including test rig design if required.
*You will compile test reports and contribute to Intellectual Property dossiers when necessary.
