Your tasks:

• Review and evaluation of documents for the final disposal of radioactive waste products and containers in the Konrad repository
• Preparation of test reports in German
• Carrying out quality control of test reports
• Compliance with the applicable legal requirements and the regulations set by the relevant supervisory authorities, experts and approval authorities, as well as all relevant standards, guidelines and other regulations and the procedural and project instructions for project management, e.g. Engineering Handbook
• Management of project-related data and relevant expertise
• Coordination with colleagues, authorities and submitters regarding the documents to be checked
• Participation in subject-specific training events
• Independent processing of work orders in compliance with the specified time frame and the set date in accordance with the applicable work instructions for the work order
• Handling changes, such as project change notifications, in accordance with the project delivery and quality assurance rules set out in the Project Management and Quality Management Manual
• Preparation of presentations for work meetings, contributions to conferences, etc.

Your profile:

• Degree in natural sciences or engineering
• Experience in the mentioned subject area (Physics, Nuclear Radiation, Mechanical Engineering, Long-term Waste Storage, Regulatory Compliance)
• Knowledge of nuclear technology/radiation protection is an advantage
• Teamwork
• German language skills (C1) required
• Willingness to travel required
