Job Purpose / Overview

As a Planning Support Coordinator, you will play a key role in one of the UK's most ambitious infrastructure projects. As they move into the next exciting phase of the Hinkley Point C (HPC) journey, they are looking for a proactive and organised Planning Support Coordinator to help steer the Post CS2 programme towards successful delivery. This is a varied and dynamic role, offering the chance to take ownership of key activities, support cross-functional teams, and even lead on sub-projects as you grow.

Principal Accountabilities

In this role, you'll be the engine behind the scenes-coordinating meetings, tracking actions, and ensuring that the Post CS2 programme stays on course. You'll support the development of communication strategies, prepare reports and briefings, and help maintain alignment across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.

You'll also play a key part in managing and analysing project schedules, identifying risks, and ensuring that milestones are met. Your ability to spot issues early and keep things moving will be vital to the success of the programme.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of a major infrastructure project, where your organisational skills, attention to detail, and collaborative mindset will make a real difference.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience

You're someone who thrives in a structured yet fast-moving environment. You bring strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence. You're comfortable working independently but also enjoy being part of a team and building strong relationships across departments.

You'll have excellent communication skills-both written and verbal-and be confident using tools like Microsoft Office, Power BI, and databases. You don't need to be an engineer, but you do need to be curious, proactive, and ready to learn. Experience in project or programme support, particularly in complex or regulated environments, will be a strong advantage.

You're motivated, adaptable, and calm under pressure. You take pride in delivering high-quality work and are always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes. If you're ready to grow your career in a role that offers both challenge and purpose, we'd love to hear from you.

Rullion celebrates and supports diversity and is committed to ensuring equal opportunities for both employees and applicants.
