Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Rochester, Kent - Hybrid working

Duration: 12 months with view to extend

Pay Rate: £550-£590 P/day OUTSIDE IR35

We are currently recruitng for amjor Interconnector project based at the Isle of Grain, Rochester, Kent. Our client is looking for a Senior QS to join their team and support with the Building Services subcontracts.

The Role

• Management of Building Services and Erection and Commissioning (E&C) subcontracts.
• Aiding existing Main Civils Quantity Surveyor if workload allows prior to E&C works commencing.
• Experience of contract forms MF/1 and FIDIC preferable but not essential for candidate that otherwise possesses strong contractual knowledge.
• Experience of methods of measurement and re-measurable contracts. Ability to read drawings to verify measures.

Normal Quantity Surveyor duties with particular focus on:

• Change and claim management/assessment.
• Liability forecasting
