Rullion Teams up with The Prince’s Trust

Rullion has partnered with charity The Prince’s Trust in our ongoing efforts to support young people across the UK move into employment, education and training.

Founded in 1976, The Prince's Trust offers careers guidance, employability workshops and free courses that aim to improve the lives of young people aged 11-30 across the UK. To date, The Trust have helped over1 million young people who are unemployed or at risk of exclusion from school, offering them guidance on how to get their lives back on track.

We'll be raising money for The Trust through fundraising events, volunteering and spreading awareness. To help us do this, we've appointed two Ambassadors from Rullion, Andrew Burrows and Katie Scott, to lead on all the Trust’s initiatives and spread the charity’s message amongst our colleagues.

Andrew Burrows, Senior Account Manager, said this of the scheme:

“Rullion has always given opportunities to young people trying to make a start in their careers so when the partnership was announced, it was something that made sense to me. The Prince’s Trust is a renowned organisation doing fantastic work to help those less fortunate, so why wouldn’t I want to be involved!”.

Katie Scott, Early Careers Recruitment Coordinator, is also equally as thrilled to be involved:

“I jumped at the chance to become an ambassador for Rullion’s engagement with the Prince’s Trust and think it’s a great opportunity to give my time and energy to an amazing initiative. I love getting involved in coordinating fundraising events as it’s always great to see everyone come together, raise money and have fun along the way”.

Commenting on the partnership, Susie Cuthill, Head of Business Development at The Prince’s Trust, said

“We’re thrilled to have Rullion on board to bolster The Prince’s Trust’s support for young people at this critical time. Their generosity will help us in our mission to give young people the skills and confidence they need to succeed in life. We’re especially grateful for their support for our Future Workforce Fund, a ground-breaking initiative that will transform young lives in Greater Manchester, delivered in partnership with the Greater Manchester Combined Authority.

Our first fundraising initiative has been a company-wide triathlon, the results of which will be announced in the next couple of weeks.

We're excited by this partnership and the opportunity it gives us to help unlock the potential in all of us, and look forward to seeing the results of our fundraising efforts!
