Job Description

Job title: Radiation/Waste Project Manager
Job Type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: Permanent
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: £65,000-£75,000
Location: Seascale/Whitehaven
Hours of work: 38 hours Mon-Friday
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- HNC/HND in relevant discipline
- Significant experience in a nuclear engineering environment essential
- Nuclear based project experience
- Full project lifecycle experience as a project manager
- Great stakeholder management skills
- Site management experience
Ideally applicants should also have:

- Engineering degree
- Chartership or equivalent

Role information:

- Manage all aspects of multi-discipline projects from inception through to completion
- Prepare the project execution plans for all project activities in line with preset requirements
- Develop the organisational structure for a multi-disciplined team and delegate the necessary resources required for them to complete their works
- Prepare and update the project schedule
- Review design, procurement, manufacturing, shipping and sub-contract operations to ensure project specifications are being adhered to
- Monitor project progress
