Job Description

Role: Fire Alarm Design Engineer

Location: Canary Wharf, London

Duration: 6 months initial contract - 24 month project

Rate: £350-£400 P/day OUTSIDE IR35

Summary

A full time Hybrid Role supporting the delivery of a Large Fire Alarm and PAVA installation in Canary Wharf London. Attending site to support the project team in the delivery of the project over the next 2 years.

Experienced in designing in Revit you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the design development with all stake holders.

Carry out project specific Life Safety designs which will include, Fire Detection and Alarms, PA/VA systems, Aspirating systems and Disable Refuge Systems. Ensure that a comprehensive BOM is maintained, programme and design deliverables.

Implement the approval process with the relevant stake holders and ensure there is a full understanding of the scope documents and the system design is fully compliant with relevant standards and regulations.

Ensure all system documentation is prepared for the that the O&M's from start to completion of the project.

Proven ability to professionally document, illustrate and present detailed fire and security system design specifications with in-depth knowledge of the relevant standards
