Job title: Mechanical Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: 12 months rolling contract
Pay rate: £30-£40/hr Umbrella
Location: Whitehaven - Hybrid Available 2-3 days on site
Hours of work: 37 hours Monday-Friday

Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Experience working in nuclear or another highly regulated industry
- Experience working as part of a multi discipline team
- Design experience
- 2+ years experience in mechanical engineering

Role information:
- Develop AutoCAD designs
- Ensure design deliverables are produced to a high standard
- Check and produce CDM risk registers
- Check and approve scoping and calculations
- Produce technically accurate documentation
- Ensure work is delivered to scope
- Develop estimates and requirements at bid stage
- Ensure health and safety procedures and legislation is adhered to
- Assess concessions and technical queries
