Pay rate: Up to £22.30 per hour

Location: Heysham

Hours of work: 37 hours per week, 5 days

Our client, a leading player within the nuclear industry, is now looking for a AutoCAD Operator to join their team based in Heysham. Your responsibilities will include amending, reviewing, and distributing drawings via advanced systems like AMS/CDMS, as well as updating and distributing hard copy documents station-wide. You will analyse, interpret, and present information to support the Document Management Process, while providing essential AutoCAD/RASTERCAD support to the station. Additionally, you will engage in ad hoc administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of Document Management Operations.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate of the following skills/experience:

  • Skilled in AUTOCAD/RASTERCAD.
  • Will have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring high standards are maintained through all Station Drawings.
  • Confident communication skills - written and verbal, dealing with stakeholders at all levels.

Role information:

  • Amendment, review, issue and distribution of Drawings via AMS/CDMS.
  • Updating/distribution hard copy documents station wide.
  • Analysis, interpretation and presentation of information to support the Document Management Process.
  • Provide AutoCAD/RASTERCAD support to station.
  • Ad hoc administration to support Document Management Operations.
