EHS Advisor

Job Description

Rullion are looking to recruit for the following Role:

• EHS Advisor
• Location Bramford Suffolk
• Outside IR35
• £500-600 per Day
• Fully Site based.
• ASAP Start
• Duration - 12 months - Possible to run untill 2027
• Full time Full site based. Monday to Friday

Work on the project will now include.

Onshore

Enabling and main civil works including construction of access roads and drainage, foundations, construction of buildings (steel erection and cladding), installation of building services, mechanical and electrical installation and commissioning.



Offshore

Preparation for offshore campaign including mechanical and electrical installation at a yard in Norway. Preparation for sail out of platform and participation in workshops to develop logistics strategy and arrangements, provision of vessels, installation of platform and jacket, emergency response arrangements, offshore campaign including snagging and commissioning.

The role will expect the individual to be present on the onshore site for approximately 50% of the month. Expenses relating to the onshore activities in the UK will not be paid separately i.e., it is included in daily rate.

As works commence in the yard in Norway (approx. 5 months' time), the EHS Manager will also be expected to visit the fabrication yard in Norway once a month or two months depending on activities. Expenses associated with these visits will be paid separately.

Technical Competence

* Detailed knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation pertaining to large construction projects

* Experience in implementing EHS arrangements for Principal Contractor on CDM projects.

Competence Requirements Mandatory
* Diploma or equivalent in Health & Safety Management.
* Diploma or equivalent in Environmental Management.
* CDM Awareness.
* BESC (onshore only) -
* National Grid Person (onshore only)- Desirable not essential
* CCNSG Passport.- Essential
* Accident investigation.
* Fire safety.
* BOSIET. (offshore only). -Advantegous but can be completed later date.
* Ladder training (offshore only). as above
* IOSH Chartered Member

Desirable * Lead Auditor ISO45001/ISO14001 * HSG47. * Safety coaching/behavioural safety * First Aid at Work (3 day including use of defibrillator) Optional * SF6 Gas awareness.

Additional Requirements * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * IT Literacy (MS Office)
