Job title: Radiation Protection Support Specialist
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: Negotiable (DOE)
Location: Reading
Hours of work: 40 hours Mon-Friday

Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Significant radiation protection experience
- Demonstrable ability to train workers in groups
- Relevant qualification in radiation protection, health physics or other relevant subject
- Ability to gain SC clearanee

Role information:
- Develop and deliver radiation protection training packages
- Take the lead in the development of trainee radiation protection monitors
- Conduct reviews of radiation protection processes, procedures and practices in order to drive improvements, efficiencies and reduce exposure risks
- Provide technical support to radiation engineering teams
- Undertake other related duties when requested
