Job Description

Job title: Deputy Quality Manager
Job type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum
Location: Seascale - Occasional trips to other sites
Hours of work: 37 hours Mon-Fri (Hybrid working available)

Applicants must posses the following:
- Degree qualified in relevant field
- Member of CQI
- Good understanding of corporate strategy, values and objectives
- 10 years quality experience
- 5 years experience managing a team
- Nuclear or highly regulated industry experience
- Lead auditor trained
- Detailed knowledge of ISO 9001
- Experience in construction or civil engineering
- Strong stakeholder management skills

Role information:
- Ensure quality management systems meet stakeholder requirements
- Ensure products meet specified requirements
- Implement an effective quality control programme that helps support objectives
- Develop a risk based assurance plan
- Undertake audits, highlight areas for improvement and offer suggestions
- Manage KPI's to monitor performance
- Implement improvement plans
- Be involved with project start up meetings
