Job Description

Job title: Commissioning Section Lead
Job Type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: Permanent
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: £67-£75,000 Depending on experience
Location: Whitehaven
Hours of work: 38 Hours Mon-Friday
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Ability to gain SC clearance
- Minimum 10 years commissioning experience
- Experience working in the nuclear or nuclear defense industries
- Minimum 5 years experience as a lead commissioning engineer
- HND/HNC (Mechanical, HVAC, EC&I)
- Pre-ops and design knowledge essential
- Full commissioning project lifecycle experience
- Fault finding experience
- Experience leading a team
Ideally applicants should also have:

- A degree in a relevant discipline

Role information:

- Deliver and develop the start-up, commissioning and pre-operations work scope
- Direct a team and ensure works are delivered to the agreed scope
- Work alongside other multi disciplined teams and liaise with stakeholders to ensure requirements are met
- Lead the commissioning engineers to ensure the safe delivery of the work scope
