Quality Engineer

Job Description

Job title: Quality Engineer
Job type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
Location: Cumbria or Warrington
Hours of work: 37 hours per week Mon-Friday

Applicants must posses the following:
- Ability to gain SC clearance
- Level 5 qualification in relevant discipline
- CQI or other relevant body membership
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of quality assurance/control tools and techniques
- Experience as a quality engineer

Candidates would ideally have:
- Knowledge of ISO 9000 among other management system standards
- Training in auditing
- Experience of supply chain work

Role information:
- Identify and implement quality improvements
- Understand and interpret stakeholder requirements
- Identify risks and plan and mitigate them accordingly
- Ensure effective quality delivery
- Work alongside integrated teams to prepare quality plans
- Monitor quality performance
- Promote continuous improvement to quality
