Job title: Lead Commissioning Engineer - Control Systems (Senior Technical Engineer)
Job Type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: Permanent
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: £45 to £55,000
Location: Whitehaven
Hours of work: 37 Hours Mon-Friday
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Background in EC&I or control systems
- Good knowledge of PLC & SCADA systems
- Experience in commissioning
- Ability to lead a team
- HNC or level 4 qualification in relevant field
- Experience working in nuclear or another highly regulated industry

Role information:

- Produce LTRs (LifeTime Records) and test documentation
- Understand and interpret design documentation
- Provide leadership and support to commissioning based activities
- Ensure the approval and implementation of simple system modifications
- Provide fault finding support and take remedial action when needed
- Lead on assurance through the whole project lifecycle
