Job Description

Job title: Lead Commissioning Engineer (E&I Biased)
Job Type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: Permanent
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: £55-75,000
Location: Seascale
Hours of work: 37 Hours Mon-Friday
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- HNC qualification or above
- Experience leading an engineering team or technical team
- IT literate with proficiency with Microsoft packages (Word, Excel)
- Experience with fault finding
- Experience setting up new works systems and processes
- Experience producing startup commissioning and pre operations documentation
- Ability to gain SC clearance

Role information:

- Supervise the team delivery startup, commissions and pre-operations works throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure health and safety standards and requirements are met
- Review work progress and performances ensuring standards are being met and take remedial action where necessary
- Manage resources to ensure the project is delivered in a cost effective manner
- Develop delivery plans in line with the projects schedules
- Monitor project risks and take remedial action where necessary
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure safe and timely delivery of the work
- Train and develop junior members of the team
