Job Description

Job title: Principal Safety Case Engineer
Job type: Permanent
Salary: Negotiable (DOE)
Location: Flexible (Remote working available)
Hours of work: Up to 40 hours per week

Applicants must posses the following:
* Bachelors Hons Degree in relevant field
* 15 years industry experience
* Nuclear sector experience
* Experience in preparing safety documents
* Knowledge of regulatory negotiation
* Proven leadership skills and experience in managing large complex teams and mentoring/training junior level staff
* Chartered status/membership

Role information:
* Support engineering teams and workstreams in their review of codes and standards
* Acting as the point of contact for key stakeholders
* Managing delivery for the work undertaken within the agreed remit against cost and programme to the satisfaction of key stakeholders
* Leading and participating in hazard identification studies
* Coordinating production of the safety submission including all specialist safety input
