Job Description

Job title: SHEQ Advisor
Job type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP
Salary: £30,000 to £45,000
Hours of work: 37 hours a week, Remote Working, Once a week travel to Workington

Applicants must posses of the following:
* 3 years experience in similar role
* Project Quality and Management Systems knowledge
* IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.
* NEBOSH Qualification
* Experience with HSEQ audits and inspections

Candidates would ideally have:
* Membership of professional body(s) e.g., IOSH, CQI, IEMA
* Appropriate Qualification in Quality Management e.g., PCQI, MCQI, Diploma etc.

Role information:
* Observance and support of company SHEQ&S culture.
* Proactively support awareness and implementation of SHEQ&S policy.
* Observance of application and adherence to company management system.
* Internal monitoring, audit, and review of compliance to relevant management systems by employees
and suppliers.
* Provision of SHEQ&S advice to employees and management.
* Support supplier and subcontractor assessments where required.
* Support interactions with customers, suppliers, auditors, and regulators.
* Input into management reports including performance statistics.
* Reporting, assessing and the investigation of accidents incidents, near misses and non-conformities.
* Collation and dissemination of SHEQ&S statistical information.
* Active participation in SHEQ&S meeting and communicate meeting minutes.
* Chair and report on the Safety Representative meetings.
* Ensure risk assessments and method statements are prepared, reviewed, and where required
comments fed back to personnel.
* Review contractor Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Plans.
* SHEQ&S audits and inspections of the field-based operations.
* Production of SHEQ&S Documentation.
* Delivery of internal SHEQ&S Training.
* Provide support and advice relating to supplier and contractor evaluation and audit.
* Provision of SHEQ&S advice.
* Support Regulatory and 3rd party audits.
* Support maintenance & evolution of the Integrate Management Systems.
