Job title: Embedded Software design engineer

IR35 Status: Inside
Start date: Subject to security clearance
Salary: £37,000-£68,000
Benefits:
25 Days + 8 Bank Holidays
Bonus up to 7.5%
Pension up to 18% - 6% employee 12% employer

Location: Derby
Hours of work: 37hrs Mon-Fri
Applicants must have experience of the following:
* Be qualified to Degree level (or equivalent experience) in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
* Be experienced in designing and verifying high integrity Software.
* Have the ability to provide clear, concise and accurate technical reports

Experience of the following, whilst not essential, would be beneficial:
* Languages:
o Ada
o C++
o C#
o Python
* Tools:
o IBM® Engineering Requirements DOORS
o Ansys - SCADE Architect
o Ansys - SCADE Suite
o SCADE Suite KCG
o SPARK Ada code
o ReqTify
o VectorCast
o LabView
o Azure DevOps
o Git
* Standards, Frameworks and Techniques
o Real-time operating systems
o PLC development
o Agile Scrum
o Software Verification and Validation.
Awareness of safety-critical development constraints (e.g. DO-178B/C, IEC60880, IEC61508)
Candidates would ideally have:
Role information:
* You will follow a safety critical development lifecycle to:
o Develop Software requirements and design.
o Develop and Verify high integrity code.
o Support host, target and integration testing of your designs.
o Author and review design documentation.
* You will liaise with FPGA, Hardware, Systems and Verification teams to ensure customer expectations are met effectively and efficiently.
* You will contribute to the continuing improvement of the development processes and product quality.
