Start date: Subject to security clearance
Salary: £37,000-£68,000
Location: Derby
Hours of work: 37hrs Mon-Fri
Applicants must have experience of the following:
* Be qualified to Degree level (or equivalent experience) in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
* Be experienced in designing and verifying designs expressed using VHDL
* Have the ability to provide clear, concise and accurate technical reports

Experience of the following, whilst not essential, would be beneficial:
* Languages:
o SystemVerilog
o TCL
o Python
* Tools:
o Siemens - QuestaSim / ModelSim
o Siemens - Questa PropCheck
o Siemens - FormalPro
o Synopsys - Synplify Pro
o IBM® Engineering Requirements DOORS
o Azure DevOps
o Git
* Standards, Frameworks and Techniques
o Knowledge and experience of safety standards such as IEC 61513, IEC 62566, IEC 26262, DO 254
o UVM
o Constrained Random Testing
o Formal Verification

Role information:
You will follow a safety critical development lifecycle to:
* Develop requirements, from equipment to implementation level, for FPGA based designs
* Develop and Verify VHDL code
* Support hardware-based testing of your designs
* Author and review design documentation
* You will liaise with Software, Hardware, Systems and Verification teams to ensure customer expectations are met effectively and efficiently
* You will contribute to the continuing improvement of the development processes and product quality
